Maya Selection

Recently I got a problem in Maya, i've been searching for hours on how to select the back faces, but still no luck, I've been turning on and off backface Culling but it does not work.

so I've read some forums in polycount,well you can go to this link (Click me dude!) but it's kinda long so i'll just summarize it up here

so here it is

Just double click the selection tool

and this guy shows up.. just unchecked that camera based selection.

 and now you can select everything!
